Shoval holds a bachelor's degree in psychology. Previous to Beit Daniella, she worked in the Department of Mental Trauma at the Ministry of Health as a mental-health coordinator. She also worked at the Summit Institute, tutoring foster children, and at Enosh in the community rehabilitation center. Shoval was a research assistant in a laboratory investigating treatment of depression and has studied mindfulness at the Mindful Space organization.
