Yair holds a Bachelor's degree in multidisciplinary studies from Sapir College with a specialization in history, Middle Eastern studies and education. He was a counselor and coordinator at the Adanim School, a post-hospitalization residential facility for teens struggling with mental health. Additionally, Yair managed an informal educational program under the auspices of the Bnei Shimon Regional Council. Yair is married with a child and resides in Kibbutz Lahav.
